The first 5 months of the year

Our mission has always been to help the most urgent of the homeless pets in palm beach county . We pull from the county shelter , we take in strays as space permits so they avoid the county shelter completely and we take owner surrenders from palm beach county . While we have made a handful of exceptions over the past years , to help our neighboring counties , we stay true to the mission . The 3 of us have , and will continue to, save as many homeless pets of Palm Beach County as we have the space and minutes for . Sick, injured, senior , the ones who have been let down , abused and neglected . This also includes farm animals , of which we have rescued hundreds. Each sacrifice, blood , sweat and tear are worth it ! For them !
We cannot do it alone and we thank each and every single one of you who help us along this incredible and fulfilling journey of saving precious lives ! 💕🐾

thank you Palm Beach Shelter Pet Project and for all you do to help the county shelter  pets

Hats off 2020

We are Honored and Humbled to have been nominated for the 2020  Hats Off Non Profit Awards  , amongst all the non profits of Palm Beach County. Thank you @NonProfitsFirst  !

Our mission, to serve the homeless pets of Palm Beach County, is critical to end the plight of homeless animals in our county. Working closely with our municipal shelter, we save as many lives  from there as we can house and care for. We have been the second largest puller  of urgent animals since our inception. Now that Elizabeth is  a volunteer District Leader with the Humane Society of the United States,   our  voice for homeless animals  will be even louder!

Raising awareness of our mission is critical for its advancement and growth to save even more homeless animals.

Thank you for our nomination!

Awards will be announced December 8,  Please wish us luck !

Pets Here On Stray Hold

On occasion, lost pets may find themselves doing their stray hold here , rather than at the county shelter. Those pets are shown here , and if you see your pet, please CALL US IMMEDIATELY. Stray hold is 5 days , and we want every lost pet to find their loving family. If your pet is not spayed / neutered or up to date with vaccines, please know, as per statute , you will have to pick up your pet from Animal Care and Control.

If you have lost a pet, please contact Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control at (561) 233-1200  to report your pet missing. On their website is a page called SNAP, where you can upload your pets info and photo. As a result , many people view it daily. We suggest that you physically go to the shelter daily. Animal Control  does not always have staff to match the found and missing.  Also post your pet on PeggyAdams.org  lost and found site , and check with them regularly. They  hold many strays for the county  at their facility
