Poncho is a super sweet Min Pin approximately 7-8 years old. He was surrendered to us in May. We made him comfortable and in a few short days, he warmed right up to us. He spends most days laying around watching tv, he likes to go out in the yard and walk around. We noticed he doesn’t play with any of the toys we have, but that doesn’t matter as long as he’s happy. He was never really socialized growing up, so he prefers seniors and smaller dogs to hang out with. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, including his rabies vaccine, and he is microchipped. He was in dire need o a dental which we just did, and he lost quite a few teeth, so her prefers wet food now. If you would like to meet this handsome young man, please don’t hesitate and fill out an adoption application on our website. And, please be sure to call ahead to (561) 402-1451 to schedule an appointment! Thank you

Meet Delilah our sweet tiny little chihuahua!! She was found as a stray two months ago and a kind hearted soul picked her up and brought her to our county shelter. They sent out the rescue request and we said yes. She was a little shy at first and once she realized she was safe, her true personality started to show. She’s sweet and petite, she’s got a big personality for a little girl. She’s been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She loves to play with toys, she loves to run around the yard, she’s almost completely house trained, we’re working on that. She weighs about 5 pounds, she will steal your heart if you let her. If you would like to meet this little munchkin please don’t hesitate and fill out our on line application and please be sure to call ahead to 561 402 1451 to schedule an appointment for a meet and greet.
Finley is an absolute doll , he’s approximately 5-6 years old with a loving personality. Finley was found as a stray, brought to the county shelter. We were called right away, and we immediately went and picked him up. He was in a lot of pain from an old injury, which thankfully only needed rest. After a few weeks of taking it easy he began playing out the yard with all of his housemates. He’s super sweet and very friendly, gets along well with everyone he meets here.
He had been adopted and he loved his family immensely and they loved him, but he became protective very early on. He would bark at anyone who came near the young boy when they came to the house. He responded the same with other dogs on walks in the neighborhood. He would likely do better in a home without young children and less visitors. He would love a fenced in yard to run and play in. Finley would make a wonderful addition to a loving home. If you are interested in meeting Finley, please complete the adoption application on our website. And please call ahead to (561)402-1451 to schedule an appointment..
Hi there, my name is Pine. I’m about four years old it’s a pleasure to meet you..so a few months ago..I was running around in the farm lands..having so much fun..I ended up down the street from Barky Pines and that’s the beginning of my journey!! They came to scan me only to find I had no microchip and I wasn’t fixed either oh boy that would all change very quickly!! As you can see I’m a big boy..I was so thankful that they took me in despite my size..as it turned out they have an air conditioned condo with color tv and a nice cozy bed..and that was to be my own personal space!! Wow just got here and I’m treated like a king!! I really never stayed indoor before and it took some getting used to in the beginning!! Now I can’t wait for my walk and I happily go right back inside to enjoy some tv! I love to be walked around the huge property but I do like to chase the cats and occasionally a chicken or duck..I am a very sweet boy I’m getting used to being pet and loved on. Oh and did I mention that I can jump like 5 feet straight up in the air…I would love to find a family of my own…a family who can manage a big boy like me…could be that person be you? If so please don’t hesitate to fill out an adoption application on our website..And please call ahead to (561) 402-1451 to schedule an appointment ..thank you ,,.Till then I’ll be waiting for you !
