3/2/25 we held the ribbon cutting ceremony for The Rainbow Bridge and memorial garden here at Barky Pines.
When hurricane Helene ravaged the Carolinas, the bridge there was decimated. Our hearts were broken for all the owners who placed their beloved pets’ collars and harnesses. We knew they would eventually rebuild, but thought how wonderful it would be to have one here in South Florida. Thanks to amazing supporters, the dream became a reality.
Yesterday, our animal Chaplain, Gigi, dedicated the bridge in a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. We could not be more grateful to her and Dr. Cebula and everyone who came out for the event.
Our gratitude to Loxahatchee Lost and Found Pets for the beautiful dog and cat statues that grace the bridge.
The bridge is open from 10am-pm, days a week. Please feel free to come and add your mementos.
